  The Hockey Pavilion at the BIG STICK is a favorite spot for sightseers to snap a lasting memory. It is a significant draw to the Downtown area.
 
 
 
 The next most known Hockey venue in Eveleth is the Hippodrome. Which is described as the oldest indoor ice arena in North America.

 The region is still making it's presence known in Hockey. Last year's Pond Hockey Movie featured many local legends.

 
By fostering the young and enshrining the elders, Eveleth supports Hockey by the generations.

Tournaments abound here, and participation is often one of the peak experiences a younger player may recite for years.

 

The Lopresti Family Legacy includes NHL players, Mr. Lopresti yet holds the NHL record for the most saves, 80 plus in the 1940's.

 
The Lopresti Tournament is in January.

 The State Bantam Tournament was held at the Hippodrome in March, 2009. Visitors from across Minnesota were well received by Eveleth, most wish they could return soon for the next go-around.
