Since our favorite shopping is rummage style, and we live in a City that actually sponsors a commercial resident-based rummage sale, why not emphasize this as a part of our Culture?
The City Wide Rummage Sale is held in early spring, and for a small fee, you can have your address listed in a directory so other buyers can easily locate you. This is marveled by other Cities and a great way to build community by wheeling and dealing with your neighbors.
At the right is Larry Ory, aka 'Animal', who recently purchased and refurbished the hardware store across from the BIG STICK.
He has a 'nack for knick-knacks but as you will see, has great abilities in retail sales and display. The Community is looking for great things to come from his business, such as developing Eveleth as a destination for discerning shoppers.
