Service Organizations:
Lions
The Lions are know for their fundraising and the direct return of funds generated to good causes within the community.
People around Town may not know the Eveleth Chapter is the oldest in the State, dating back to 1921.
You can really count on them for getting involved in the community, particularly when you need support personel. They served Eveleth well during PUCK Days, helping to register participants and route the parade sleds.

thank you goodies from the PUCK volunteers.
Pay attention to their fundraising drives, their pancake breakfast is in the Spring (mid April 2009) and there are other events in the Summer and Fall. You won't find a more popular and cleaner burning organization. What money they raise, they give away!
Scholarship Awards 2009
Lion's representative Cliff Tuuri visits with Barb of Bonsai Tea. History was made on 4/21/2009 when the State's oldest Lions Chapter voted to accept Barb as their first female member. Congratulations are due the Lions as well as Barb!
